Over the years, the famed Starr Theater has been the site of thousands of prestigious events—from Lincoln Center performance debuts and world premieres, to star-studded openings and galas, including the annual New York Film Festival and the CFDA Awards. Thanks to its recent renovation, Starr Theater now features old-guard distinction combined with sleek contemporary design. The concert hall’s new solid wood and resin walls, reshaped into sinuous curves, optimally distribute sound reflections and sustain bright, clean acoustics. A unique lighting scheme makes the wood appear to glow from within. Starr Theater can be reconfigured to accommodate events of various sizes: two automated stage extensions allow for adjustable staging options and audience capacities.
